Feeding Hong Kong
As much as the weight of 240 double-decker buses is dumped into landfills in Hong Kong every day, but many people do not have enough to eat. Feeding Hong Kong is committed to reducing high-quality food from being sent to landfills while combating the local hunger challenge. We collect leftover food from food suppliers, distributors and manufacturers that would otherwise be discarded but are still suitable for consumption. After sorting, storing and redistributing it to more than 170 charity partners, we benefit hundreds of thousands of people in need of food. Established in 2011, Feeding Hong Kong is the only member of the International Food Bank Network (GFN) in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Dog Rescue
HKDR was founded in 2003 for the specific purpose of saving dogs and puppies from the Hong Kong Government’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) Animal Management Centres. However these days most of our dogs and puppies come from different sources, and very few from AFCD. HKDR has now rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed more than 10,000 dogs and puppies while being almost entirely funded by private donations, sales of HKDR merchandise and fundraising events. HKDR is proud to be a No Kill Organisation, meaning that no dog under its care will be euthanized for any reason other than when it is the only humane option.
Fringe Club
For over 40 years since established, the Fringe Club has become a vibrant contemporary arts space where artists create and show their work, and those who enjoy the arts come to meet and see shows. Facilities for exhibitions and performances here are offered to both emerging and professional artists in Hong Kong and from overseas.
Dou Chai Arts Society
Formed in 2021 by a group of young arts and cultural workers, Dou Chai Arts focuses on developing a co-creative space and expanding an arts and cultural work team. Its members cover wide range of areas, including art and culture, community education, and local production. Dou Chai Arts actively participates in different art and cultural projects, promoting and expanding the participation and possibilities of arts and culture in society through the exchange of skills among its members. The collective has participated in and held numerous arts and cultural events, including "deTour 2021", "This Place, Foreign Land | Music × Poetry", and "Treelogy – Tracing the Secret Life of Secret".
Earthero
Earthero Studio is a conscious curator and strategist. The Studio focuses on working directly with creatives as part of the curation of unique experiences and campaigns. Earthero also has a clothing label that produces limited collections upcycled from deadstock fabric and secondhand pieces.
PET-A-Hood
PET-A-HOOD – “Pets in the Neighbourhood PET-A-HOOD is a Hong Kong-based technology company that simplifies the pet caring journey for pet owners. Our pet community app and social network platform use data and AI algorithms to provide users with relevant content, including advice on pet care, pet-friendly places, and the latest pet products and events. We connect pet owners with local businesses, emphasizing our commitment to creating a sense of community among pet owners. Our goal is to provide pet owners with everything they need to keep their furry friends healthy, happy, and well-cared for. We are an Incubatee in the Cyberport Incubation Program of 2021. We launched our mobile application in June 2022 and were awarded the Certificate of Merit for the Asia Smart App Award 22/23. Our goal is to become the leading pet community app in Asia.
Carbon Wallet
As Hong Kong’s leading one-stop green lifestyle reward platform, Carbon Wallet aims to drive sustainable consumption for cities and Make Green Lifestyle Fun through a gamified experience in the App. Users can get rewarded for taking green actions including travelling on low-carbon MTR transport, walking, recycling, having a vegetarian meal and supporting green shopping. Points earned through the App can redeem rewards from sustainable brands.
Time Auction
Time Auction is a charitable organization that promotes volunteer service. We encourage volunteer service with inspiring experiences and connect skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations.
Furry Green
Furry Green Pet Food is a Hong Kong social enterprise that converts edible prepared food into pet food. We have transformed 1,000 kilograms of food and donated some of our products to animal shelters, helping over 100 animals. Our goal is to create a circular economy where food waste is reused into resources for furry children in need.
Retrovert
The Retrolution is here.' Retrovert is a leading online secondhand clothing platform among millenials and Gen Zs in Hong Kong. With "Recycle, Reuse, Recreate" as our mission, we circulate unwanted clothing items through our online and physical stores, promoting sustainble fashions and livestyles. We also empower young mothers and NEETs by providing training and internship opportunities for them.
FairTaste
"FairTaste" is the first fair trade brand in Hong Kong. The products launched are based on the principles of fair trade, local production, good taste and no additives, in order to protect nature and reduce poverty, and let the public appreciate the meaning of conscientious consumption.
Invisible Company
Invisible Company was established in 2020 by a husband and wife team in Hong Kong, with a mission of promoting sustainability and inspiring positive environmental change through its sustainable packaging, #INVISIBLEBAG - a dissolvable, compostable, biodegradable, and non-toxic packaging alternative to plastic.
